Skywalker's Talisman
A slow-burn opener built on a single detuned pad and a kick that never quite lands where you expect. Written in one night after a cancelled set.

Electronic music by MJMT. Warehouse pressure, broken breaks, and melodies that arrive too late to apologise. Recorded between a basement on Sterling Road and whatever club will have him.

Four minutes of build, ninety seconds of payoff. The one that gets played at 3am and the one people ask about afterwards.

Named for the fifth take, which is the only one that survived. Live drum machine, no overdubs, one very stubborn hi-hat.

Part of an unfinished series named after nucleobases. Acid line, tape saturation, and a breakdown that goes on longer than it should.

A house record with the reverb left in on purpose. Dedicated to the person who first put him behind a pair of decks.

The first proper EP. Four tracks that share a bass patch and nothing else. Out November 2026 — the first two are finished.
Pre-save →RADXSOUP is the recording name of MJMT, an electronic producer and DJ working out of Toronto's Junction Triangle.
He started making tracks in 2019 on a borrowed laptop with a broken headphone jack, putting out demos nobody asked for and a few that people did. The early material was straight-ahead house — four on the floor, nothing clever. Around 2022 the drums started breaking apart, and the records got slower, heavier, and considerably less polite.
These days the sound sits somewhere between warehouse techno and the kind of house that gets played at the end of the night rather than the start. Everything is made in a basement studio on Sterling Road with a small, unglamorous setup: one analogue monosynth, a drum machine with a failing pad, and a tape emulation plugin he refuses to replace. Sets are played live on hardware where the room allows it, and off a laptop where it doesn't.
He is currently finishing the Nucleic Acid EP and taking bookings for winter 2026.
